OkiOki Mattress Review

Written by Tuck Staff

OkiOki Mattress Review

The Bottom Line.

  • Oki Oki offers memory foam and hybrid mattresses constructed with premium comfort materials and cooling ‘Ice Yarn’ fabric covers.
  • Choose from 4 firmness settings ranging from ‘Medium’ to ‘Firm’.
  • Oki Oki mattresses have very low price-points compared to similar models and the company offers a 365-night sleep trial.

Quick Summary

Quick Summary

OkiOki is a mattress manufacturer that currently offers four individual models:

  • The OkiEasy is a hybrid mattress measuring 11″ thick. It is considered ‘Medium Firm,’ or a 6 on the 1-10 firmness scale. The OkiEasy is constructed with comfort layers of 2.8 PCF memory foam with an indentation load deflection (ILD) of 10 and 1.75 PCF high-density polyfoam (25 ILD). Its support core features pocketed coils encased in high-density polyfoam, along with a high-density foam base layer.
  • The OkiFirm is an all-foam mattress. It is made with a comfort layer of 2.8 PCF graphite-infused polyfoam (12 ILD) and a support core of 1.5 PCF high-density polyfoam (36 ILD). The OkiFirm measures 10″ thick and has a ‘Firm’ (8) feel.
  • The OkiFlex is a hybrid mattress. Its comfort system includes a top layer of 2.2 PCF graphite-infused memory foam (12 ILD). It also has a single transitional layer consisting of a 1.75 high-density polyfoam (25 ILD) top and a 1.9 PCF high-density polyfoam (36 ILD) bottom. The OkiFlex measures 11″ thick and is considered ‘Firm’ (7).
  • The OkiSoft is an all-foam mattress with a 10″ profile and a ‘Medium’ (5) feel. The bed is built with a 2.5 PCF memory foam comfort layer (11 ILD). Its support core is similar to the OkiFlex’s transitional layer, consisting of a 1.75 PCF high-density polyfoam (25 ILD) top and a 1.9 PCF high-density polyfoam (36 ILD) bottom.

Additionally, each OkiOki mattress has a cover made of proprietary ‘Ice Yarn’ cooling fabric.

This range of firmness and composition options should accommodate most sleepers regardless of their weight or preferred sleep position.

OkiEasy and OkiFlex hybrids are suitable for hot sleepers since the cooling covers help regulate surface temperatures while the coil layers offer strong, consistent airflow. The all-foam OkiFirm and OkiSoft beds, on the other hand, provide great motion isolation and do not make any noise, making them a great option for couples who experience sleep disturbances.

All OkiOki mattresses are exceptionally low-priced – models costs $550-$595 in a Queen-size, making them much cheaper than the average all-foam or hybrid mattress. OkiOki also offers a 365-night sleep trial – one of the longest trials available anywhere – and a 10-year warranty for each bed. Free shipping is available to customers in the contiguous U.S.

Read on to learn more about OkiOki mattresses in terms of construction, pricing, and performance ratings. This guide also includes an overview of the brand’s shipping, return, and warranty policies, along with some similar brand recommendations.

What Type of Sleeper is Best Suited to an OkiOki Mattress?

Based on our customer feedback, OkiOki mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions.

Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses.

Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.

For more information on sleeping positions please see our guides for side, back, stomach and combination sleepers.

OkiOki’s current models range from ‘Medium’ to ‘Firm’ settings. This selection should accommodate most sleepers weighing at least 130 pounds.

The ‘Medium’ and ‘Medium Firm’ settings are optimal for back and stomach sleepers weighing between 130 and 230 pounds, as well as heavier side sleepers who need extra cushioning below their shoulders and hips.

The two ‘Firm’ models may be more suitable for heavier back and stomach sleepers. However, lighter side sleepers may find that all four OkiOki models feel too firm.

OkiOki Mattress Recommendations

  • You’d like to buy a hybrid or all-foam mattress at a below-average price-point
  • You prefer sleeping on beds with average thickness profiles
  • You’re looking for an all-foam mattress that isolates motion transfer well and doesn’t make any noise
  • You’re looking for a hybrid mattress with good responsiveness and consistent temperature neutrality

How Does the OkiOki Mattress Compare to Other Beds?

As any consumer does with a product they’re considering, our mattress assessments naturally involve comparing them with other similar products. Be it composition, firmness, or price, we think it’s important to see how OkiOki mattresses stack up to other beds.

OkiOki offers four different mattresses, including a memory foam model (OkiSoft), two hybrids (OkiEasy, OkiFlex), and an all-foam bed (OkiFirm). Each mattress has a different firmness, with options ranging from ‘Medium’ to ‘Firm’.

Most sleepers weighing 130 pounds or more should be able to find an OkiOki model that provides sufficient comfort and support. The OkiEasy and OkiFlex are good options for hot sleepers due to their consistent temperature neutrality.

The OkiFirm and OkiSoft isolate motion transfer well and don’t make any noise, making them suitable for couples. OkiOki mattresses are exceptionally low-priced, as well, and the company offers a 365-night sleep trial, which is one of the longest trial periods available anywhere.

Construction and Firmness

Now, let’s take a closer look at how OkiOki mattresses are made. The following table lists firmness, thickness, and material composition specs for the OkiEasy, OkiFirm, OkiFlex, and OkiSoft models.

For the OkiFlex and OkiSoft, please note the following: These beds include two-sided polyfoam layers – the top surface is softer with a lower ILD, while the bottom surface is firmer with a higher ILD. These layers are intended to provide cushioning for sleepers while reinforcing the support core and base with the firmer side.

For the OkiFlex, the two-sided polyfoam serves as a transitional layer. For the OkiSoft, it makes up the support core.

      • Visible sagging or indentations in the sleep surface measuring one inch (1″) or deeper.
      • Splits or cracks in any foam layers of the mattress.

    5. The warranty will not cover the following:
      • Visible sagging or indentations in the sleep surface that do not measure one inch (1″) or deeper, or normal increases in softness that occur over time. These issues are considered standard wear and tear.
      • Repair or replacement requests that occur due to changes in the owner’s comfort preferences.
      • Damage that occurs due to improper foundational support and/or commercial use.
    6. This warranty is nontransferable. It is exclusively open to original owners who purchase their mattress from OkiOki or a non-authorized retailer. Those who buy or acquire the mattress from the original owner or a non-authorized retailer will not receive warranty coverage.
