- Sleepers who enjoy moderate body-conforming. The mattress conforms somewhat closely to the sleeper’s body without sinking or losing support. This results in a combined feeling of sleeping “on” and sleeping “in” the mattress.
- People weighing 230 pounds or less. Although the Allswell Supreme earned favorable ratings from sleepers across different weights and sleep positions, the best feedback came from those in the lightweight and average weight groups.
- Couples. The Allswell Supreme isolates motion better than many competing hybrid models, and its pocketed coils are reasonably quiet. The mattress also offers very good responsiveness for sex.
- Hot sleepers. Thanks to strong airflow through the coil layer, the mattress is mostly temperature-neutral and should sleep sufficiently cool for most.
- Value seekers. Although this is Allswell’s most expensive mattress, its price-point is much lower than the average hybrid model.
Not Recommended for...
- Sleepers who enjoy a traditional innerspring feel. Due to its deeper conforming, the Allswell Supreme may not be suitable for those who prefer the feeling of sleeping “on” their mattress.

Ratings Summary
Our testing team conducted an extensive evaluation of the Allswell Supreme. Our review and rating process consists of three parts: in-house evaluation, external sleep testing, and data collection of verified owner experiences. To learn more about our review process, read our methodology here.
Our performance criteria and ratings for the bed are listed in the table below.
As you can see, the Allswell Supreme earned favorable reviews across the board. For a detailed look at each performance rating, check out our full breakdown below.
Sleep Position Ratings
As part of our ratings process, we evaluated the Allswell Supreme across different body types and preferred sleep positions. In addition to physical testing, we surveyed our sleep expert team and analyzed reviews from verified mattress owners and customers. Our findings are listed in the table below.
For more information on sleeping positions please see our guides for side, back, stomach, and combination sleepers.
How Is the Allswell Supreme Constructed?
Cover
The Allswell Supreme is constructed with a Euro-top layer measuring roughly 1.5 inches thick. The Euro-top has a plush, cushioning feel. This can be especially beneficial for side sleepers seeking extra padding for their shoulders and hips, which can improve spinal alignment and alleviate pressure points.
The cover fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton, giving the material a soft and breathable feel.
Comfort Layers
The mattress features a 2-inch comfort layer of graphite- and copper-infused gel memory foam located beneath the Euro-top. This material has an indentation load deflection (ILD) of 10, indicating exceptional softness and deeper body-conforming.
The copper and graphite infusions are intended to boost temperature neutrality, as both components have cooling properties. The foam is also low-density (2.2 PCF), meaning it won’t absorb as much body heat as denser memory foam and should sleep cooler as a result.
Transitional Layer
A transitional layer of 2.5 PCF Energex polyfoam is found between the Allswell Supreme’s comfort layer and support core. This component acts as a buffer that prevents sleepers from sinking into the coils. The polyfoam has an ILD of 24, which indicates a medium-soft feel, but the material is dense enough to help the bed maintain even support.
Support Layers
The Allswell Supreme’s support core is made up of 8-inch pocketed coils, followed by a 0.5-inch base layer of high-density polyfoam. These components stabilize the entire bed to prevent excessive sagging, and give the bed a fairly responsive feel.
The coil layer is zoned. Lower-gauge (thicker) coils are located along the perimeter to prevent excessive sinkage in places where people normally sit when getting in and out of bed, which in turn make sleepers feel more secure when lying near the edges. Higher-gauge (thinner) coils line the middle to ensure the bed is sufficiently supportive without feeling too firm.
Mattress Height
The Allswell Supreme measures 14 inches thick, making it a high-profile mattress. The bed’s above-average height allows plenty of space for a thick, supportive coil system without sacrificing a closely conforming comfort system and cushioning Euro-top layer. As a result, the bed offers a medium feel while still maintaining an even plane for sleepers.
Product Name | Firmness Options | Thickness | Support Core Components | Comfort Layer Components | Cover Components |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Allswell Supreme | Medium (5.5) | 14″ | 8″ Pocketed Coils 0.5″ HD Base Polyfoam |
2″ 2.2 PCF Copper- and Graphite-infused Gel Memory Foam (10 ILD) 2″ 2.5 PCF Energex Polyfoam (24 ILD) |
1.5″ Euro-top Polyester and Cotton Fabric Blend |
What Are the Firmness and Feel Like?
The Allswell Supreme has a medium (5.5) feel. The Euro-top and comfort layers conform rather close closely to the body, resulting in adequate pressure relief for most sleepers – particularly those who weigh 230 pounds or less. The mattress also provides even support thanks to its robust coil system.
The coils also make the surface fairly responsive, but the Allswell Supreme lacks the pronounced springiness of traditional innersprings. As a result, the mattress absorbs more motion transfer than many of its more responsive competitors. Owners will also notice the bed feels very stable along the edges due to the zoned support core.
Ratings Breakdown
Performance Ratings
Next, let’s take an in-depth look at each performance rating we’ve given the Allswell Supreme. These ratings are based on findings from our internal and external testing teams, as well as experiences from verified mattress owners.
Durability
The Allswell Supreme has been available to the public for less than two years. This means we have not had sufficient time to test the model over the average mattress lifespan of six to eight years. Our durability rating is based on the quality of materials and construction, owner experiences with the mattress, and Allswell’s overall reputation.
We expect the Allswell Supreme to perform for about six and a half to seven years before it needs to be replaced. This is on par with the average hybrid model. The bed’s thick coil system should help maintain even support over time.
However, the comfort materials may deteriorate as the mattress nears the end of its lifespan, and this can lead to sagging and body impressions in the surface. The Euro-top and memory foam layers are especially vulnerable because plush, low-density materials tend to wear out more quickly.
To help preserve the Allswell Supreme’s surface and prevent deep body impressions from forming, we urge owners to rotate their mattress head-to-foot every six months.
Motion Isolation
To evaluate the Allswell Supreme for motion isolation, we asked two testers to lie down on the mattress at the same time. One tester moved around while the other felt for movement transferring across the surface. Although the testers felt some transfer, the Allswell Supreme demonstrated above-average motion isolation during these tests.
The bed’s motion-isolating abilities can be attributed to its softer top layers. The components absorb and minimize more transfer than the firmer, more responsive layers found in many competing hybrids.
Off-Gassing
We noticed some moderate off-gassing smells when unboxing the Allswell Supreme. However, after re-evaluating the mattress several days later, the unpleasant odors had completely dissipated. Owner experiences also suggest low off-gassing potential after the mattress has been unpackaged for a few days.
Hybrids like the Allswell Supreme tend to smell less because their coil layers circulate more air. All-foam beds can be more problematic for off-gassing because their support cores trap unwanted odor.
Pressure Relief
To evaluate the mattress for pressure relief, our testers took turns lying on a sensory pad that monitors pressure build-up in the shoulders, hips, and other sensitive areas of the body. They also shifted sleep positions to see if pressure increased or decreased while lying on their sides, back, and stomach.
Our testing found the Allswell Supreme alleviates pressure very well. Our average weight testers experienced the most pressure relief. Testers weighing less than 130 pounds or more than 230 pounds felt some added pressure in the shoulders and hips, but overall they also found the mattress comfortable.
The bed’s pressure-relieving abilities can be attributed to its Euro-top and memory foam layers, which conform closely to the sleeper’s body and help align the spine without sagging too much.
Temperature Neutrality
The Allswell Supreme provides very good temperature neutrality, which is typical for a hybrid model. The low-density memory foam layer does not absorb too much body heat, while strong air circulation through the coil layer helps the mattress interior maintain a comfortable temperature.
These components offset body heat absorption from the Euro-top, allowing sleepers to enjoy the cushioning cover without feeling too warm.
Edge Support
To assess edge support for the Allswell Supreme, our testers sat along the perimeter as an owner might do when getting in and out of bed. All of the testers – even those in the heavyweight group – experienced minimal sinkage and felt very supported thanks to the lower-gauge coils reinforcing the perimeter.
Our testers also took turns lying near the edges of the mattress to check for feelings of “roll-off.” Again, each tester felt reasonably secure, even when shifting positions. Edge support is one of the Allswell Supreme’s key strengths.
Noise
We did not notice any loud noises during their evaluation of the Allswell Supreme. The bed’s coils may begin to squeak and creak as the mattress reaches the end of its lifespan. However, pocketed coils tend to be quieter than the bonnell or offset coils found in most innersprings, and we don’t foresee the mattress causing any major sleep disruptions.
The bed’s relatively quiet coil system, combined with its above-average motion isolation, make the mattress a good option for couples who prefer a more responsive hybrid feel but also tend to awaken easily due to their sleep partner’s movements.
Sex
The Allswell Supreme is fairly responsive while conforming somewhat closely to the body. For many couples, this represents the best of both worlds when it comes to amorous activities. The bed is sufficiently springy, allowing them to change positions easily and utilize the entire surface of the bed, while conforming foam layers ensure decent traction. The coils are also fairly quiet for added discretion.
Sleeper Ratings
The ideal firmness and thickness settings for a mattress largely depend on a sleeper’s body weight, shape, and preferred sleep position. In order to better inform our readers and avoid subjectivity in our review, we evaluated the bed with sleep testers of varying body types and position preferences.
Lightweight Sleepers – Less than 130 lbs.
All of our lightweight sleep testers enjoyed the Allswell Supreme. The Euro-top and softer comfort layer provide adequate padding for side sleepers around the shoulders and hips, resulting in better spinal alignment and pressure relief. Back and stomach sleepers found the mattress reasonably supportive with enough body-conforming to reduce pressure points in their most sensitive areas.
Sleepers who weigh less than 130 pounds generally prefer soft to medium-soft mattresses. Most firmer beds do not conform closely enough, and the sleeper does not experience adequate pressure relief as a result. The Allswell Supreme has a medium feel, but the Euro-top gives the surface some extra plushness to help lightweight individuals feel more comfortable.
Average Weight Sleepers – 130 to 230 lbs.
Side and back sleepers weighing between 130 and 230 pounds also found the Allswell Supreme very comfortable. The bed’s Euro-top and memory foam layer offer enough padding to improve spinal alignment and alleviate pressure without sagging excessively.
Stomach sleepers in the average weight group also enjoyed the mattress, though they experienced more sagging around the midsection, resulting in less support.
For most average weight sleepers, the ideal firmness setting falls between medium-soft and medium-firm. A mid-level feel ensures a balance of body-conforming and support. Softer beds often sag too much, whereas firmer models do not conform closely enough to reduce pressure points.
Heavyweight Sleepers – More than 230 lbs.
Ratings were mixed among our heavyweight testers. Side sleepers weighing more than 230 pounds noted decent padding for the shoulders and hips, but the mattress sagged too much to provide even spinal alignment. Back sleepers also found the mattress a bit too soft, resulting in some added pressure.
For stomach sleepers, the mattress sagged excessively around the midsection. This is a common issue associated with this sleep position. Most people – particularly heavier individuals – carry a large portion of their weight in the stomach. Sleeping face-down can cause their body to sink too deeply into a mattress, and this can lead to aches and pains in the neck, shoulders, and lower back.

How Does the Allswell Supreme Compare to Other Beds?
We encourage all mattress shoppers to compare different brands and models in order to find the best match. In this next section, we’ll see how the Allswell Supreme stacks up against other Allswell models and some similarly constructed beds from competing brands.
Allswell Supreme vs. Allswell Mattress
The flagship Allswell Mattress is a hybrid model with a medium-firm feel. The mattress does not conform as closely as the Allswell Supreme and will not alleviate as much pressure for lightweight sleepers, but the Allswell Mattress offers more support for heavier individuals.
The Allswell Supreme and Allswell Mattress are each fairly responsive, but they still provide decent motion isolation. They also sleep reasonably cool thanks to strong airflow through their support core, and the zoned coils found in both beds ensure very stable edge support. One key difference is thickness, as the Allswell Supreme’s profile is 4 inches thicker.
The Allswell Supreme has a higher price-point, but still costs much less than the average hybrid model. Those who like a firmer feel and less conforming should opt for the Allswell Mattress, while the Allswell Supreme is better suited to sleepers who prefer a balance of pressure relief and support.

Allswell Supreme vs. Allswell Luxe Hybrid
Like the Allswell Supreme, the Allswell Luxe Hybrid is a high-profile model with a memory foam comfort layer and thick pocketed coils. The mattress is slightly firmer than the Allswell Supreme and does not conform as closely, making it better for heavier individuals and those who like sleeping “on” – as opposed to “in” – their mattress.
Apart from firmness and conforming ability, the two mattresses are fairly comparable. Each model has zoned pocketed coils, which ensure strong edge support and also promote strong airflow to keep the mattress temperature-neutral. One notable difference is motion isolation. Because the Allswell Supreme has a softer surface, it absorbs and minimizes more motion transfer than the Allswell Luxe Hybrid.
The Allswell Supreme costs a bit more than the Allswell Luxe Hybrid but both are considered high-value models. We recommend the Allswell Supreme to lighter people and those who prefer closer body-conforming, while heavier people and those who like firmer surfaces should consider the Allswell Luxe Hybrid instead.

Allswell Supreme vs. Brooklyn Bedding Signature
The Brooklyn Bedding Signature shares many structural similarities with the Allswell Supreme. A hybrid model, the Brooklyn Bedding Signature is constructed with a foam-padded cover, deep comfort system, and pocketed coils. Both beds offer very good temperature neutrality due to strong airflow through the coil layers. Other common qualities include strong edge support and low odor potential.
The Brooklyn Bedding Signature is available in soft (3.5), medium (5.5), and firm (7.5) settings. This selection ensures most shoppers can find a suitable option regardless of their weight or preferred sleep position. The Allswell Supreme is only available with a medium (5.5) feel, and this will be more limiting to those whose preferences differ. However, the Brooklyn Bedding Signature lacks the Euro-top padding of the Allswell Supreme.
Price-points are comparable for these two models. The Brooklyn Bedding Signature’s firmness range makes it the better choice for those who prefer soft or firm mattresses, but the Allswell Supreme may be more suitable for people seeking a medium feel with extra cushioning.

Allswell Supreme vs. Casper Hybrid
The Casper Hybrid is constructed with comfort layers of polyfoam and memory foam. The surface is responsive but has a medium (5.5) feel, and the top layers conform somewhat closely. This results in a combination of sleeping “on” and sleeping “in” the mattress, which is very similar to the Allswell Supreme’s feel.
Edge support is much better for the Allswell Supreme, which reinforces the perimeter with thicker pocketed coils. The Casper Hybrid is more prone to deep sinkage, as well as feelings of “roll-off” for sleepers lying along the edges. The Casper Hybrid also produces more odor than the average hybrid. However, the mattress alleviates more pressure for sleepers due to its deeper comfort system.
The Casper Hybrid is slightly more expensive than the Allswell Supreme, making them both high-value hybrid models. We recommend the Allswell Supreme for those who prefer a bed with stronger edges and better support, but the Casper Hybrid is better suited to people who have pain in pressure points such as the hips and shoulders.

Allswell Supreme vs. Saatva
The Saatva is a luxury innerspring model. The bed’s coil-on-coil design consists of a pocketed minicoil transitional layer, followed by a support core of steel bonnell coils. These components give the Saatva exceptional responsiveness and make it very supportive for heavier individuals.
The Saatva is available in medium-soft (4), medium-firm (6), and firm (7.5) settings, as well as 11.5-inch or 14.5-inch profiles. This wide product range should accommodate most sleepers across different weight and position categories, including those whose preferences differ from the Allswell Supreme’s medium feel and above-average thickness.
That said, the Allswell Supreme offers better motion isolation and alleviates more pressure for sleepers.
The Saatva is the more expensive model, but shoppers in the contiguous U.S. should note the mattress qualifies for free White Glove delivery. We recommend the Allswell Supreme for sleepers seeking a balanced medium feel with ample cushioning. Those with other preferences are likely to find the Saatva more comfortable.

Allswell Supreme vs. The WinkBed
Like the Saatva mentioned above, the WinkBed is a luxury innerspring available in multiple firmness settings. Customers can choose between medium-soft (4.5), medium-firm (6.5), and firm (7.5) feels for the standard model, which includes extra foam padding and a minicoil transitional layer. Another option is the WinkBed Plus, a firm (8) model with a thick latex transitional layer.
The WinkBed and the Allswell Supreme each contain a zoned coil layer for robust edge support, and both beds sleep reasonably cool due to strong airflow through their support cores. Additionally, the beds have fairly responsive surfaces that make them very good for sex, but their comfort systems are thick enough to reduce motion transfer.
The WinkBed are considerably more expensive than the Allswell Supreme. Sleepers who want a medium feel with an even balance of conforming and support should select the Allswell Supreme, but the WinkBed’s firmness range make it better suited to those who prefer softer or firmer mattresses.
